2002 mxzx 440 ski doo
this skidoo is in excellant condition but when i warm it up it will just quit. when i start it i give it 4 pumps of the primer it will start on the 1st put and sit there and idle at 3000rpm. a few minutes into the warm up it will just quit and i have to keep it running with the primer for a few minutes then it will snap out of it run fine and never bothers during riding it. any suggestions. also anyone know how fast this sled should run i can get 80 out of it that all, but it will reach 80 very quickly. my son just bought this for me he was sick of seeing me riding my old dinasours. that is a real nice 76 panther 5000 and a 80 6000 eltigre that i picked up last year. we hardly get enough snow to ride here in western ny anymore so sledding here is pretty poor anymore. the eltigre will whip the ass of of this mxzx 440 and iam dissappointed in that, but the ski doo is so much sweeter and a huge step up for this old boy. any information on the speed and warmup issues will be appreciated. it seems to me that it would be a fuel pump issue but i have not even looked into it.
