im wondering if i could put the new "raw freestyle seat" on my f7? they are way more comfortable and seem to be higher up so its not as far to sit. i was also looking into an after market seat. i just really like the look of the rmk seat and wondered if there is any possible way to get it to fit on my 03 f7. i dont know the exact seat width either. or maybe i should look at the 440 seat. any inputs would be great guys,
Thanks,

I wouldn't say it couldn't be done, but it'd prolly look a little neater to put a Boss seat or another aftermarket seat on. I'm pretty sure the Raw chassis, the tank goes under the front of the tank.
Is this the one you are thinking about?

Either seat will require extensive fitting and molding to get it to fit decent and look good to boot. People have put the SnoPro 440 seats on Firecats, but it is not "easy" by any means IMO. You have to keep in mind that the SnoPro 440 and Fireccat use completely different gas tanks, so the seat framing is all different. I would fork out the money for a Boss highrise flattop and be done with it myself.

The Sabercat seats look a lot nicer than the Firecat seats and can swap pretty easily. SaberCat seats look similiar to a ProX shorty seat but are suppose to have a huge trunk tucked in behind. Heres a pic of a 04 with sabercat seat from a dude on HCS.

i would love to find a green seat, so if anybody has one for sale i would most likely think about buying one. any other ideas on a freestyle looking seat for my f7? i love the looks of them, and for me they are really comfortable, like the prox2 seat. that is very comfortable and looks really cool, and its short. i like the shorter ones, so if anybody has anything like that that will fit an f7 please let me know.

I would speculate quite a bit of cutting/fitting/molding just like the SnoPro seats.

Id go for the saber cat seat. i dont think the had a green saber cat seat. just black and silver, and red and black. You got some red on that sled. It wouldn't look too bad.

I just cut down the seat and recover it on my old ZX. I loved the look of the bare tunnel. Is it possible to just cut down your seat?

well the thing is, i like the rise up of the pro x seat. and i also love the look of the bare tunnel it just looks so much better to me, ill have to think about just cutting it down and mayb putting a board or someting underneath to raise it up some. was it hard to cut it down and recover it?

You can always take it to an upholstery shop and have them add foam to the top of the seat to raise it up higher, then have them recover it however you want. If you have an idea of what you want, I'm sure a decent shop could get it done.
I was going to do this with my ZR, but picked up my SnoPro before I dumped any more money into it.
