Okay, here's the results from this un-scientific research.
Mileage from 26 small-block Liberty engines were reported.
4 engines (15%) failed at 5000 miles or less.
14 engines (54%) have over 5000 miles with no engine work.

Maybe it's your thermostat that is causing the overheating. By the way that's a big block

My '01 has a 600 that has abut 4200 miles on it, no problems. But I had a 600 go out on me with about 3400 miles on it.
My dad's '02 has over 6000 on it no problems and his other '02 has over 3000 no problems but a pinched head o-ring.
My uncles 05 600 had over 5000 on it with no engine problems but he crashed the sled and bent the bulkhead.
My cousin has an '03 600 that is pushing 9000 miles, trouble free.

06 fusion 600 wiht 3400 miles on it with out a problem, just gets a little rich sometimes
1st of all the real weight of the xp is 439.
2nd it is how the engine makes the hp through out the rpm range.
3rd the Dragon 800sp has the Ripsaw track 1.25.
4th ,you have no idea of what you are talking about.
5th get the F-CK out and stop bashing.
6th your Mach z 1000 is a chit box.
I may be a retard, but I'm the smartest one I know.
