Went for a trip to see my buddy in Cable. When we set this trip up the snow was almost nonexistent on the trails. I decided to drag the sleds up anyway. Ended up driving up in a snowstorm that dumped about 5 inches. glad i made the decision to bring them. I found awesome trail conditions from Cable to Iron River and Brule. As a side note Brule powersports is closing the doors. It is a shame. the next day we rode to Port Wing. Once again freshly groomed trails. Props to the local area groomers Drummond sno jacks And the iron river groomers and especially the namakagon trail groomers. As always we stopped at the wayside to shoot pics of Lake superior and Minnesota's north shore in the distance before taking trail 1 back to the south to the tri county corridor and back down to 31 to 61 to 6 to drummond and finally 63 to Cable. But not before stopping at The Black Bear for the Areas best prime rib. Sunday Found us riding to Lakewoods for Brunch. The crablegs were great. Found great riding to the east towards Clam Lake and back north to 25 to 90 over to lake Namakagon. Probably the last ride of the year but it was a great season
