This sled looks awesome as well as the whole 2010 line up. I have a 2001 Zr800 and this year was the first year that i wasnt happy with arcticcat, almost thought about buying a new skidoo MXZX 600 e-tec. But i now just seen this sled. What i like most about this sled is the Double wishbone a-arms with FOX zero shocks and the slide action frame, just like the factory race sleds. Finally i can buy a race sled NEW. As you probably can tell, im not going to buy that skidoo, im just really glade arctic cat is put a sled designed for my style of riding on the line...THANK YOU. also i may ad...The CRF1000 is stupid awesome. the new thundercat but a twin rather then a triple. This has to be a fast sled. Over all i really like the look of the line up

Too bad they used the non powervalve 500 in the SnoPro. But at least the chassis is available. Kudos to Cat for letting the consumer have more choices than ever before. They have something for nearly everyone this year.

I really like how they took off the back trunk and side plastic and have a different snow flap that actually says arctic cat

Yeah they should of used the 105hp 500cc found in the firecats. With only 85hp it cannot compete with skidoos mxz tnt 500ss.
2006 Firecat .. 6" riser, flyscreen, light blackouts, orange light covers, orange ski tips, Rumble pack, cycra handguards, powder strap, orange recoil handle.

I do like that they are offering the chassis. The 500 non-PV powerplant was a poor choice though, as Jay mentioned. It might be an ok entry sled for the younger "parking lot poser" crowd, but anybody with remote experience will be begging for more power in a heartbeat I think.

If they had offered it with a 120hp 600cc mill, I would pick one up. My next sled has to be a step up, I can't see going with less hp. Even though I think the sled is amazing. Maybe in 2011 they offer diff. engine choices.

The standard SnoPro 500 does not come with those decals. If you look at that picture, it has a disclaimer under the picture, "Shown with the Team Arctic race graphic kit: Available for a limited time only."
Obviously Cat is going to sponsor APV oil for their actual race sleds, which is what that graphics kit is based off. That kit is for all the ultimate posers I figure.

Thats fine that they wanna hit the younger generation and all, but what about us guys that have been waiting for a sled like this and have been sticking money into the sport for years. They should have atleast offered a model with a 600 efi. I bet they would sell a ton of them!

they dont do this because the regular race sled is already a 600. this helps bring the value of the race sleds up for the racers so they can actually sell them for a decent price at the end of the year. unlike the doo, the poo and ac snox chassis are completely different chassis then the consumer versions and build just for racing and cost more to build as well

I thought that the Sno Pro 500 is the sx chassis?

If they would have put the 600 powervalve into it, they would have sooo many more customers. I bet i won't even see 1 on the trails this year...

The sled has that motor to race in the 85hp XC class. I dont beleive the bigger engines fit the chassis with oil injection.
It is deff not a beginners sled. That sled will ripp through the trails very good and hit the jumps and ditches better than anything a consumer can buy.
Only place it will lack is the lakes, wich it isnt intended for.
This just might be my next sled.

The powervalve 500 is dead because of emissions so sadly it will never come back.

emissions laws are the true killer of all things fun look at the 70's with the great cars next thinng they will make put cats on the sleds. then we will realy see all the good motors die
