I've added a new feature. If you edit your profile you now have an "Avatar Thumbnail" option, which is a square (that's the key, square) version of your avatar. Please edit your profile and adjust it, center it however you want. This small version is one I'm going to start using around the site for different things and on a couple of new little things I'm working on. Your normal avatar will still remain in posts and the miniature version of that one will still remain in some places but this square one will make things fit together nicer when I'm working on certain layouts.
Here is where that is located in your profile. Click the link and a box will pop up which will allow you to adjust it.
