Doesn't look that fast to me. The last vid the guy isn't even down behind the windscreen.
Of course, I don't have sound on my work computer, so I'm only going on what I see...

Depends on how good you are a shifting. My bike, wheeler, and dirt bike all have gears and corner fine.
What's your problem? RUFWM?

GASP! You what?!?
Hehe...
You know, I always wondered why Honda hasn't done sleds. Everything they build is solid...generators, lawn mowers, cars, etc, etc...it would make sense, wouldn't it? That quality in a snowmobile?
Maybe one day, maybe.

Isn't that the point of a CVT?
I've been riding powersports (dirt bikes, quads, sleds, street bikes) equipment since I was 6 and don't think I would be able to downshift a couple gears quick enough without bogging the motor. I guess this would be one of those instances where I'd have to ride a shiftable sled to really make the call though. To me sitting on a sled (atleast all the ones I've owned) doesn't lend itself very well to be in the propper position.
I've thought about sticking a crotch rocket motor in a sled chassis, but planned on running the chain to a jackshaft with a CVT clutch on that. Put the motor in a gear that would be within the CVT's operating range and clutch it accordingly.
