Well coming off a couple poor seasons, I'm at about 1100 miles this season, and hope to get one last ride in tomorrow. The goal 150mi minimum. Was a great season for me, sled ran great, great conditions all year. Learned alot of new riding spots. Just curious what everone eles thinks of there season.

Mine was great, only had 1 sled melt down, and I got in about 1800 miles and am going to get in a couple more.

Mine was not great, but was better than the last 3 or 4 years. I put 283 miles on my own sled this year...beating my 85 from last!

A mountain lion roaming the prairie found a bull, killed it and ate the entire bull. With a heavy belly, unable to walk, the lion laid in the tall grass moaning and roaring. Soon a hunter, attracted by the roaring, shot and killed the lion. Moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut!

Best year yet. Only made 2 trips up north, but got in 4 days here. Overall we had a horrible winter here. Only one week when we could ride, and we only had 10-13 inches to work with. Plus ice under it. Rode 1300 or so miles, sled ran great except the low end. My first trip out i had a few problems, but nothing to bad. Ive thought about buying my own sled, but unless i find a great deal im gonna keep riding this 500 and see if i can get 10k on it. If dad doesnt sell his 700 this summer and buy a GSX, itll have 10k on it next winter. Maybe we will do a rebuild in a couple years.

I went from worrying about getting any riding in at all this winter, to riding 1300 miles. Over twice then what ive rode any other year.

Mine wasnt that great. I rode 5 times, 3 of them on my own sled which was probably around 300 miles. Snow was good for my trip to the Black Hills. Back home snow was a joke, hardly nothing.

This season wasn't bad, first season on this sled. Put on about 750 trouble free local trail and field bombing miles.

It's sad to say that my mileage this year was the MOST that I've been able to put on, in years. Wasn't enough to say I felt like I got all I wanted, though. Got to get the sled out more early in the season, but I only put on maybe 30 miles since New Years, been too busy on weekends and stuff to get away and ride.

Conditions I did get to enjoy were the best I've found in a couple years, we spent 3 days banging around in 12+ inches of fluffy snow. Not really putting on miles, but having a blast anyway.

No mechanical problems, but am probably due for some new carbides on both sleds. Still needing to get the shocks on my wife's 500 rebuilt. Should have done them before the season, but she talked me out of it, not wanting to risk missing any riding time.

Still talking snowfall locally, but we'd need a lot for me to consider pulling the sleds out again. I have not got them ready for storage yet, though. ;)

My start to the season was phenomenal with almost 900 miles before january, then my sled decided to melt a piston and ruin a cylinder early into February, and with school a huge priority right now, i have not rebuilt it yet. There hopefully are some plans however for this summers rebuild if all goes well (hint hint)

Mine was pretty decent, best snow I have riden in around here in along time. We still have quite abit left to,so hopefully I can get a few more rides in. Made it to west yellowstone once, got the chance to hit my ramp, and had enough time to build my IQ up to what I wanted it to be this season.

It started? Haha.

We had about 2 weeks of good riding back in Feb, and for half that time I was repairing my motor after blowing it in January. It has been possible to ride since part way through January, but with very limited snow, and once again we are stuck with limited snow (I can see the grass in my front yard). I've gotten 300km in this year so far, but the season isn't over yet. Calling for a few more snow storms in the next few weeks, and temperatures are suppose to stay down. Will be out on the sled tomorrow getting some more seat time.

Still got another month or two of riding left. Sled is running great and only one thing went wrong, broken chaincase and oh yeah one belt gone. Hope to get some more riding in before all of snow melts away!

Mine sucked. Had a sled ready to go in November - kid sold it from under me. Then, reality set in with this recession, and I'm not making enough to pay for a sled right now.

Had a couple more on the hook, but my wife kyboshed that...saying she wants something newer and more expensive. Trust me, I don't think that's a bad thing...except for the delay it now causes.

Was ready to go out in Feb to my Aunt's place, to use her 95 Indy, that went up in smoke, too, because my January sucked so bad. Tough to get a paycheque when you're not selling anything.

It has NOT been a good season. Snow's good...and I'm stuck inside. Frick.

Just another average year for me. Not sure how many miles Ive put on since I dont keep track and I dont really care anyways. Lots of season left yet though. First trip to the mountains is tomorrow, and with a fresh 26" down the last couple days it should be pretty fun.

I'm with you, I just got my springs yesterday. I got one more ride for sure, then hopefully we get some snow!!! I got less than 200 miles on this year, and I bought a new sled..

It's going to be weird to dump $9 a gallon gas into the truck.

I'm taking the viper out skipping tommorrow, might as well make use out of this horrible weather.

Owning a race sled is like having a totally hot girlfriend..... All of your friends want to see it, feel it and check it out..... They all want to know what it is like to ride it, but if they only knew how much time and money it takes to keep one up, they would call you a fool!

Could ride longer (if I put floaties on my sled). Overall, a pretty good year. A little over 1000 miles. Could've used a little more snow though.

Got towed home for the second time this year today. Will do some testing and see what's up with my sled, and if it is anything serious I'm done for the season. I've hit that point where I am sick and tired of fixing stuff after every second ride. If we don't get anymore snow (or any noticeable amount) then the season will be over soon anyways, so I'll have to see what happens.
