i wish i would have gotten more in, i rode more during deer season to get to the stands then anything. i put 40 miles on this year and that was christmas eve. then right after snow melted and i moved to montana, without the sled so my riding year was bad but when i did ride there was a ton of snow.

Considering this was my first year, with a snowmobile, and I didnt get it till Feb 7ish, I dont think I did to bad. 300 miles (roughly). I only hope that next season can be as good and as long as this one. Then I will be all set!
The wife only bought me the sled, so that she can get one this year :( Guess I have to get her one.

Started out great we had at least 2 1/2 feet maybe 3 but thats all we got this year and its not going to last the whole year. We are down to basically crust snow or ice. Had major overheating problems with the RMK last night.

Mine was horribel- it's not over yet, still lots of snow, but two of my sleds are down, and have been for most of the season. First, my sks got rammed into by a firecat, that took it out of play for a week and a half, then a serious overheaating/engine ticking sound that i still hvn't fixed, working on still. that has taken out a month, with no fix yet.!!!!
My 86 indy is hurting- i can't start it, think the engine is leaking gas. Do a search if you can help- i'd really appreciate it.

Considering my sled was KIA in January and February sucked for snow, I only got about 155 on my sled this season, 50 on someone else's.
Definitely not what I expected...
Rear skid is out of it now and I'm starting my project for the off-season. I have admitted defeat. It's also 60 degrees.

Our year was pretty good. It was my wife's second year of riding and she did very well. She only got in about 600 miles, and I guess I rode about 850. Most of our miles were right here in southern WI so that was a fairly decent number for a typical winter here. We went up north for a weekend where I put on about 300 miles, and the wife did around 100 riding and 2 days of shoppin' with the ladies. Time to clean 'em up!!

all in all it was a good year. After all i put more miles on this year than any other. 2023 miles or so.
Riding around home sucked. After last year when there were 2 unridable weekends begining dec- end feb to this year when there were 3 ridable weekends.
Took a couple two or three great trips up north. Hopefully ill be able to get one last ride in. The best part is there was no downtime whatsoever with the sled. Just gas and oil. Its still running on the original sparkplugs.

Well looks like we got the last two rides in. Did a quick 50miles Friday night, Unbelievable...Freshly groomed about 45 degrees out with a full moon, you could not ask for a better night to ride. Saturday we did about 150+ figured farther north would be better...wrong.. but not bad slushy and warm but still had a decent base. The new clutch set-up was perfect, sleds ran great! If it was the last we went out with a bang. but the local weather clowns are calling for 2-4 today maybe, just maybe we'll get 1 more!!

Well it looks like were supposed to get 12-16 inches of snow in the next couple of days, the bad part of it is I have the flu.
Snowdriven- I almost sunk on saturday.. scary sh1t, I can honestly say that I understand why people don't like to use deeper lug tracks for waterskipping.
