Left Friday morning to go north for our sled trip. Started up in International Falls and rode through Voyageurs National Park the trails were in perfect shape. Came across acouple of deer so we stopped, my Aunt was up front following some deer when one ran off into the wood, she didn't know it but the deer made a circle and came out onto the trail behind her. I could of sworn that it was a game to the deer. The next day we went to Orr and started from there. There were a lot of hills and icy turns. The next day we rode to Crane Lake, didn't make it because we somehow got turned around, my brother's buddy(Chris) was up front and came around a turn on the right side and coming from the other direction was a guy hogging the trail and going fast so he tried to turn more and ended up rolling his sled to avoid hitting head on but the other guy stopped only to wait for the rest of his group and took off without seeing if Chris was hurt. Luckily he wasn't hurt and only damaged his windshield and part of his cowling, or dash. My brother ended up being towed twice, we believe his fuel pump is going out. First time his sled stalled, we thought maybe compression so he put hi thumb over the Spark plug hole and my dad pulled the rope but he forgot to let go of the sparkplug which was still attached to the coil and got the shock of his life and nocked him to the ground. Unfortunately our computer isn't working so I'm having to use one at the Library so I won't be able to post any pics yet. looking forward to do so.
-To ride or not to ride, what a stupid question!
-You should never judge a guy until you have walked a mile in his shoes, then you are a mile away and have his shoes
-Ice, snow, or grass, I'll still kick your ass.
