Over the summer I would like to convert my 121 inch track to a 136 inch. The sled is a 2003 pro x 600. I know there is two ways to do it, the extensions or buying new rails all together. Has anyone done this? And what do you reccomend to use. Also I feel it is a good upgrade to the sled for cornering and traction but I dont want to take away from the sleds ditch banging capabilities. Any thoughts on that? What else is necessary to make the full conversion? Heat exchanges? Extended tunnel? Any and all tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The tracksusa rail extentions are prob the best they extend you hyfax unlike the SLP rail extentions. I think its a good idea i plan on doing this to my 02 XCSP600. Also tunnel ententions wouldnt be a bad idea and a longer snow flap. Tracksusa sells the tunnel extentions also. No modification needed to heat exchangers unless you plan on going with a bigger lug track.

Go with a 144! Could possibly even look into getting a tip up that way on trails you wont notice the extra track but once you get into the powder you will have the extra footprint to help you scoot.

What ever you decide, TracksUSA has everything you need. I went 136" straight with a Ripsaw track and ditch bang, jump even better.

I have a 136"x2" on mine, it doesn't make it any harder to play around on or anything. I'm going with a 144" tip set up next year.

What's your problem? RUFWM?

extensions are ok but why not buy a complete skid? unless money is limited use the extensions. the 1 1/4 predator track has worked awesome for me. second one had one on two different sleds!

too many animals too feed. too little time

How hard would it be to put an RMK skid into the prox tunnel?

a tip up rail is when the rear of the rail is raised a bit so the rear of the long track doesnt catch so much on the snow when trail riding, thus leading to a long track that has the turning radius of a 121'
