I've been having a very hard time looking for a richer jet needle for my sled. I currently have this mikuni part number: 9DFH07-60. I contacted several dealers and got very little help. One place found "the next richer size" and sent me number: 9DFH10-57.
After further examination, the new needle (9DFH10-57) was indeed narrower, but was longer(by about one clip position). So it's leaner, right? If this isn't the right needle, which one is?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Did some checking and the new needle you have seems to be a leaner one. Even though it's longer, you can always adjust the clip position. With the longer needle, it'll take more throttle to open the main jet all the way.

XLT96rider, where did you go to find out it was leaner? As of right now, the 9DFH07-60 is at it's richest position, and it seems like one more lower clip position would fix it. That tells me go to a richer needle, right? I saw a website with the polaris part numbers matched with the Mikuni part numbers, but what it doesn't tell you is what is leaner and richer...

Sorry, I got mixed up...It is richer, not leaner...don't remember which website it was, I was in probably 20 different sites looking. Some of them had charts that listed lean to rich, top to bottom on chart. The "9" series is hard to find info on.
