Did is surge and sound like a semi hitting the jake brake which almost throws you over the handlebars? If so, this has been a common complaint and hopefully polaris fixes the problem. I don't notice it on groomed trails but when i was playing in deep power and carving it seemed like i couldn't miss this surge. I would have to let off and get back on it in hope of missing this surge.

It seems to be a problem with mapping and the opening and closing of injectors.

Do you have a exhaust deflector in front of the exhaust on the belly pan to "plow" the snow?

Yep. The stock one... Is there any different ones out there?

This is very helpful... You are the closest to explaining this. The reason I don't go aver the bars is that I am normaly going up the mountain. The problem doesn't exist down here on the flat land, so the dealer doesn't understand and I can't show him!!!

It typically surges when i reach 6800-7200 rpms, roughly. If i'm wide open in a field then back off completely, then hit it again i can get it to surge. Like i said, it sounds like a jake break, and the sled just dies.
