Whenever I am inactive from the site for a few minutes I get logged out. It's pretty annoying to log in every time. Is there a setting I can change so I always stay logged in? My parents desktop will keep me logged in but my laptop won't.
Any help please?
Thanks

I think someone said something about disabling cookies and that would take care of it. But how do I do it?

I have a new computer running Firefox 3 (hardware speaking), i also have Windows 7 with Firefox 3, Linux Red Hat Fedora Firefox 3, with zero problems. My thoughts are its some settings with your browser. I dont know a whole lot about browsers otherwise i would help.

I think when you first log into the site your browser will ask you "do you want windows to remember this password" if you click no you will be logged out after each time closing your browser and if you click yes windows will keep you logged in

I am using IE but don't know what version. How do I tell?
Also, the first time I logged in on this computer I clicked "yes" to save the password. But I still don't stay logged in. All it does is enter my password automatically after I enter my username.

I'd rather fix my IE. I do not want a temporary solution I want a permanent solution.

If you have IE you most likely will not have this problem i downloaded the latest firefox a few minutes ago and it will not keep me logged in. It remembers my info when i come back. I noticed that the internet security on firefox will not store some cookies and the ones that it doesnt store could quite possibly the ones that keep the info from this site and keep you logged in. Ive also noticed that firefox uses some type of sqlite files and maybe even use the sqlite3.dll file in the Firefox program folder to access sqlite files. Security software like that can cause a lot of problems and causing dataloss which means each time you leave this site is loses its data. Which also means slower loading times.
<edit> If your using IE and it will not keep you logged on trying clearing your history, clearing temporary internet files and deleting all cookies. Restart your computer and log back into this site if it prompts you to remember this password click yes and see if that helps.

Ok go to your start menu and right click on your IE icon and then click Internet properties there then should be something that says home page and right below that should be browsing history click on delete that will then brig you up to a new page that has temporary internet files, cookies, history, form data, and passwords. At the bottow there should be an option that says delete all click on that if you dont have that option then go through and click delete on each one of those. After doing that restart your computer open up IE and type www.snowmobilefanatics.com into your url bar up top then log in, say yes if it prompts you to save your password then search around close you IE browser without logging out open a new one type www.snowmobilefanatics.com into your url bar up top and that should keep you logged in. Each time you open up a new browser make sure you type in snowmobilefanatics.com into your url. Or if you have it saved as your homepage that should work also just make sure that after restarting the way you log into SF for the first time is the way that it will save and the way you will have to come here each time!
