okay so i am looking into selling my toys and buying a new sled.
that would be my 98 xc,97ultra,and my suzuki 250R.
around here if i am to sell them all i can probly get 10,000. going by what others are selling for and mine have all been completely rebult from ground up.
I have been looking at the shifts, but i want a minimum 700 and would prefer a 136/144.
cant go anything over 1.5 track.
so lets here what you guys think i should get, as i have heared nothing but bad about the dragons.
oh and if i have to put in more money i do work so thats an option.

if the smallest that you want is a 700, IMHO go with ski doo. Shifts are awesome but its all of the 800 engines in Polaris' that suck, not just in the dragons.

ya i know i would never go ski-doo or cat.
i would go yammy but it would be a four stroke nitro and if i were to get one it would be the 2010 with all the upgrades done. accept the price is ridiculous.
and the 800 polaris from the sounds of things are junk.
and my neibor just blew up his 09 700 dragon this season.
so im not realy sure on what to upgrade with.

its tough to say, im not partial to really any type of sled, but i really dont like artic cat. polaris isnt the way to go unless your getting a 600, yamahas havent really come out with a rela decent eye popping sled in awhile and ski doo is just making the same thing over and over again each year. personally if i were you and you would NEVER get a ski doo or artic cat, and you want larger than a 700, get a nytro.

well 700's aren't even in the polaris lineup at all this year so, i would get an oler, 07 700 dragon cfi or a 700 switchback, Thats just my .02

If you are into jumping and ditch banging go for a 03-04 Pro-X or X2 700 if you want something some what newer instead of brand spanking new unless you have no money issues but if you do go for what I said.
Polaris Pro-X=Sledgehammer, and every bit as tough as one!

Why not something like an 07 Dragon 700. From what i've heard those are decent motors and fast!

i was initially going to say like a edge or pro-xr 800 but idk if they have the same problems as the newers ones or not. but a pro-x 700 would be great for ditch bangin.

IQ rear suspension is a derivative of the PRO X susp. I'd get an IQ, possibly and IQr and long track it... put an older style 800 VES motor in it and pull the trigger.

if u still looking into yammy the 09's have all the upgrades there were no major changes for 2010 except for mountain segment so i bet u can find a leftover for cheap, sno pro motorsports in rosetown had nytro xtx for a good price thats where we got ours. the nytro xtx perfect sask riding sled, feels like a 136 on hard pack and floats like 144 in deep. can climb good and goes like a bat out of hell. Raced it last weekend and i wasted a 680 ultra with 133 track and was puttin out 160hp. the nytro was stock. another friend with one claims he beat m1000's
i ride where its steep n' deep :P
06 apex mtn
excell mtn lite exhaust, fox floats on the front, Timbersled lightweight drop brackets
mtn mod seat, timbersled barkbuster front and mtn tamer rear suspensions, simmons gen 2 skis
MMP freedom axle with (3) 9 in. blaze billet wheels,Gravity worx billet lefty throttle, Cr Racing 9" risers
