I haven't checked it, but I had just been riding the sled for a bit, so it was already warmed up. It does take 2 good yanks to get it running when it has been sitting and is cold, so I would say it is pretty good.

good looking sled. I believe that the ZR2's and ZR3's are the second best looking sleds out there. next to the 2004 firecats that is.[Thumb]

There is quite a bit left in the bush, me and a buddy went out last night for about an hour. The snow is hard packed and really wet in alot of places, plus with the weather being above zero, I'm afraid the season is over :(

I was just glad I was able to get suited up and take the new sled for one semi-decent rip just to feel it out a little, and see how it handles etc. After about 45 mins of riding I started having some slight issues and headed back to the garage to find that the throttle-body boots were cracked right through. The previous owner took the liberty of covering them with back tape. Take a look at these:

[1998 Arctic Cat zr600] * Powermadd riser * 96 Woodies * Sno-stuff Can * Ripsaw * Fox clicker shocks * Modified Cobra windscreen * Fishbone tunnel supports
[2003 Polaris Pro-X 440] * V-Force 3 reeds * Studded * Walker-Evans all around

No dice, I hate when people try and hide problems and pawn them off on other people.

Should tape those boots to a brick and have them land on his living room floor

Haha beleive me, I thought about going to the seller's house and confront him about it, but theres no real point. Luckily timing was right and the sled is parked for the summer now, I have more than enough time to fix the boots and tinker with few other odds and ends. Other than those boots, and a couple loose bolts here and there, the sled is in very good shape.

Have you checked the compression in it? It seems to pull over awful easy. But then again it is only a video and could be kind of decieving. Seems like a pretty nice looking sled.

I have a 98 zr 600 and have the stock shocks, can u really tell a difference with the fox shocks?

Your ZR should have FOX shocks from the factory.
