Ive been getting about 100 miles on a tank of oil and was wondering if that is normal for an 04 F7 sno pro. The warning light started flashing around 70-80 miles when I was about 20 miles from a gas station. Is this normal?

I know my roomate has a 04 and he had some recall for the oil level sensor, the stock ones were shorter so it would think you were low on oil. I have a 06 and I get around 150-170 for miles on a tank of oil.

Thats a lot of oil for both of you! I fill up the gas twice before I put oil in and I get around 120 miles on a tank of gas. That premature oil sensor light can make a person nervous though.

On my 04 my low oil light starts to come on around 80-90miles, I only get about 120miles to a full tank of gas and that usually burns 3/4-1qt of oil. The design of the neck makes it appear to use alot of oil but on average i get 11mpg, 3/4qt of oil/100miles
