well im not sure whats going on with it. the sled is a 92 formula 583 and its very hard to start we have to pull the crap out of it well holding the throttle and it doesn't idle. he said he cleaned the carbs. when we do pull it over we keep changing the plugs around. its Got spark and its getting gas. when we pull the plugs out they are wet but not soaking wet. they are semi black but Not oil soaked. when we pull it over with the plugs out its not shooting out gas like its flooded to hell but we do see smoke from the cylinders. it fouls plugs and sometimes runs on 1 side. its got a new top end and new coils. it has lots of spark as well. also it seems to bog when warmed up or when running in warm temps. Im thinking its a fuel problem. what should i Look for?

Check compression. Also check to make sure you got the wires running to the right cylinder. Sounds like a timing issue and you said it has a new coil so thats why im thinking you poss got the wires switched around.

SAme problem with my 91. Possibly the fuel filter or pump, or it could be kinks in the hose lines. Also, if pistons or cylinders are scared, could explain it.
Mine, when i lift the track up, it runs perfect.

Just cause your guy said he cleaned the carbs don't mean much. When was that? did he ensure the pilot jets were clear? Are the carbs air screws set correctly. If it won't idle, I suspect the carbs were not set up properly after they were cleaned or disassembled. The idle was definitely not set on them and I also suspect they were not synced with each other.

they where cleaned last month and it wasent ridden much. i just went out to see it and it got a steady drip of fuel leaking Out from under the carbs/motor area. could it be the fuel pumps? I dont think the lines are Cracks. and Also the 2 fuel shutoff's Are note even hooked up. the line Is going from the tank to the 2 pumps to the carbs.

Yup, your inlet needle/seat is not closing properly and flooding the motor with fuel.

the sled has a dual lead coil (waste spark) ignition system that fires both cylinders simultaneously twice per revolution
If you shoot the messenger there will be one to deal with when the charge comes.
