I work out of a Michigan Welcome Center/Rest Area. The local Towing/Road Side Assist company has one... Twice I've seen them try to use it and both times it couldn't do it or the battery died before all the lugs were loose.

I have one, it's good, but for example right now it would not loosen the lug nuts on my Sierra after they've been on for 8-9 months. If it's not your primary impact there great. I've always got the IR2135TI for when the cordless wont do it. Also I wouldn't trust the cordless for tightening.
I've heard nothing but good about the Snap On one, maybe that one would be worth looking at?

We have one at the farm, an 18v xrp Dewalt impact and it is good for changing points on the plows or putting grain bins together where its usually 3/8 or 7/16 bolts, but for automotive use they are just about worthless.

We've got 2 18v Makita's and a 14.4 volt Makita...we've never had any problems with them. Granted, most of their uses are farm uses, anything vehicular usually ends up in the shop to face the wrath of the IR compressed air impact.
