You'd have to put a hell of a charge to them plugs to get them to fire, but fire they would.. They would likely not last very long though, as the ceramic would heat and cool a lot faster.
They'd also be very quick to change, as it's only be a few threads instead of turning for ever, and ever..

96 - XLT/SP with Storm 800 trip/trip and now EFI - FrankenStorm II lives...

05 - Edge 800 long track - Stayin' stock for now..

There's a reason plugs are made the way they are. I wouldn't change them. Also, he just took away all of the support for the ceramic. Maybe it'll break off and destroy his engine....that'll teach him!!!

I can't think a a good reason to do what he did other than say he's got custom plugs.

So, I couldn't just let it go and I went to the banshee site at the end of the video. The guy that made the video has the full video chapters listed. The last one is named plug chop. Thats how they are checking for what mains to use in the carbs.

Yup, they are being cut after a wot run to check. In the other video, it looked like he cut the whole end off, but this clears it up. Actually, not a bad idea if you want the best performance out if it.
