Follow the throttle cable, it will split off and go to the oil pump and you can adjust it there.
If you look real close you will see 2 marks, 1 on the pump body and 1 on the lever. These marks are supposed to be lined up when the throttle is at the idle position.
Everybody needs a good wedgie.

Close,
The marks are actuelly supposed to line up when the throttle freeplay is taken up with the thumb throttle and the carbs are still in idle position.

There should be 2 marks on the control arm. My service says to hold the throttle wide open and if the mark on the arm lines up with the mark on the pump it is synchronized, if not, adjust it so the marks line up.

Either way you do it the marks are going to be lined up. I just did mine the other night and with the mark lined up at WOT, the other mark was lined up at idle. Whichever way you do it, double check both ways.

Yes, bottom right side (as you are sitting on it).

You have to have your motor in and when you connect the oiler cable you adjust it with the threaded adjuster. You adjust it with the two nuts on it.

On the cable at the oil pump there should be a nut on each side of the bracket. Loosen up the jam nut so you can loosen or tighten the other nut on the threaded part of the cable, the jam nut is the one closest to the end of the cable. You should be able to see how it works.
