well first off its a 93 zr 580. every time u go for a ride then shut her off an let it sit for the night it will act as if its flooded and it is. so im trying to figure out why it only does that over a long period of time.. also i have this issue with my clutch. it is load as heck i know it is the rolers/weights, also it engages way too high so im gonna replace it an was wondering what else would fit on it? any help with any of this would ge greatly appreciated.

check your needle and seats to make sure the seal. Also check the floats. Kinda of sounds like that might be your flooding problem. I would take both clutches off and knock them apart make sure you have all the right springs and weights in them check all the bushings. might be able to fix the ones you got.
good luck

The Polaris clutch will not fit your ZR. Pretty sure he was suggesting buy a Polaris, not sure why, not like they're immune to problems. As far as what other clutch will fit: http://www.snowmobilefanatics.com/forum/...px#1036837

if you don't have the puller to get the primary clutch off the sled. I don't know what to tell you.
the secondary clutch should come off after you take the bolt out in the center of it. If its been a long time since the last time it was removed it may take a little work to get it off. Then after they are off all i do is put them on the ground put one knee on them and take the bolts out of them. once all the bolts are out i take the presure off them nice and slow untill all the spring presure is gone. Then you can check every thing out and find out whats going on.

be sure and do as jorgy said and put your knee on it or something, that spring is pretty stout.

My ZL was also doing the flooding thing. I cleaned the carbs, still was doing it. It was doing this when we got it. We could see fuel bubbling out a small hole in the exhaust also. I replaced the needle valves and seats and its been fine ever since. Also fixed the exhaust hole of course...
