Actually I've seen tunnels made out of crabon fiber, so it must be stronger than aluminum. For $31 shipped I think I stole it. lol He said it was made by mountain machines. Could you find out what shipping would be on the motor to 44883?

yea, ill ask around to people that have shipped a motor on suggestions on shipping it as i know shipping companies aren't that gentle with parcels. any suggestions? you probably looking like $280 shipped though (as well as the engine runs, is is a good deal even with the rediculas shipping), and this is the good 650 motor, the newer style ones were slower.
do you just want the motor, or some things to go with it?

I'll probably just need the bare motor. Here is my story:
Bought this 89 Indy 650 for $200 before the season began. Swapped it into my chassis. Ran and Sounded good with my PSI's. Fried a piston up in Michigan cause my PTO seal was bad. Ran it around home for a while and bearing on the crank froze up. But for $280 shipped for everything, I can pay that.
Your best bet for shipping would be to ship the motor in a plastic cantainner with two 2x4's cut to lenght so they fit tight in the box, Then cram it full of news paper and tape it up. Ship all the other componants in a seperate box or two.

what other parts? i would put the entire motor in the box (motor, plugs(to fill holes). i will look around and see what i can find, and get a shipping quote, if the total is $300 or under, $280 is good.
need anything else? billdt pull handle?

I'll take the whole motor minus the exhaust. Also do you have a wiring harness from the chassis? And What does the billet rope handle look like? May be interested in that too.
