I guess what I would do is hook them up to a toggle switch so they can be turned on and off.
Glad you got your stuff and everything worked out, Just curious and probably none of my business, but you should be able see the posted date on the package when it was shipped out, how long it took to get to you and if a person was being truthful about when it was shipped. Just saying this because if jesse500 did what he said, maybe an apology is in order. Just my .02, take it for what its worth.

if u got underglow u need to hook it to a 9 volt battery. If you hook to anything else it has a good chance of causing problems if u go to ledaccentlights.com the guy sells cheao underglow and knows what he is doing and he suggested that to me and it has worked great for me

lmao, i had a removable kill switch i could have put in the pack for a on/off switch for the neons, for $3, lol. and i dont think postage will be marked untill the 4th or somthing, due to an extra long weekend when i brought it to the post office.
what do the instructions that were in the pack say to hook it up to? i would think an external kill switch or grab some type of on/off swith would be an ideal thing to wire it to, when its getting dark, turn the switch on!!!!
good idea i think!!!!!!!
and xedge60 didn't really bash me, just left a good stain on my online buying/selling name :( . and people thought i scammed him :( rrLrr !! playinthepowder700 sure was a basher and a half!! he must have woke up on thw wrong side of some other guys bed :P i now think he is a royal a**hole.
mmiller491, nice to know people stick up for one another nowadays, rare find there!!! thx.
oh well, xedge600, thx for your buisness, and i hope to do business with you in the future. (i dont think you do though, lol) i came through in the end, didnt I ???, lmao.

I hooked my up to the output of my regulator and used a toggle switch which I mounted by my ignition key.I have a 2005 xcsp 600. Love the lights! have had them for three years. I got them from snoglow in Duluth,MN. Hope this was helpful. If the lights are neon hook them to regulator if they are led they are meant to be hooked to battery.I have the neon lights that go under the foot rests.

hook them to the ignition, just like the heated visoer hook up. and i think you should mount them in the shock towers. and mount the on/off switch under the shock tower too, so when you want them on, your not lifting the hoos and that.

sorry i ment "lifting the HOOD and that". if you hood it to the ignition, theres always power to the neon when the sled is running, but with the on/off switch in the neon kit, it will disrupt the power current, so you can have the lights always on, or turn em' on when it starts to get dim/dark.
xedge600, if you wanted, electropods (the manufactuer of your neon kit) makes a system you connect to the neon set and you can adjust the brightness of the neons, you can set them so they blink, you can set the blinking speed, etc..... i think its $10 or so.

to wire them to the regulator all you have to do is buy some male connector ends and down by the woltage regulator on the newer polaris sleds there are two leads coming off one positive and one negitive you can hook into that and then run a switch up to your dash next to the key
