We went up to Finland MN about a month ago and someone walked off with my castle coat. Oh well, I guess they needed it more than me (or they were a total fricken prick).
I was going to get some new bibs next year anyhow since my bibs are actually of the "pants" style and I got burned by frostbite because of it.
I'm probably going to go with polaris unless someone can give me a reason to buy something else. It's inexpensive (compared to others) and durable and warm.
Thanks to some *** who was at the bar that night I can justify pants AND a coat to my wife. Thanks thief!!
Thanks
Adam

Castle X jacket with removable liner- very warm, even when below zero - got the one that's longer in the back. Found one on clearance, it was just a last year model.
and Castle X bibs - also very warm.

I got a smokin deal on some Arctiva stuff on ebay awhile back. I got the comp2 bibs and jacket for $150 shipped to my door, just for one they are usually like 200 something. I wore them in -40 degree windchill with zero problems, its light weight and warm with vents that unzip for those warm days. When it is warm i work up one hell of a sweat in it, but thats for any of them.

I would recommend going with Klim gear. You're going to be spending a little more cash, but they are the best a guy can get. It's not too terribly pricey if you can find carryover gear.

03 MXZx 800 Factory Mod--soon to be 144 with some more goodies.

It's starting to look like I bleed yellow.

now I can't compare it to anything, but my polaris coat is so breathable and warm. you can't tell if it is -40 of 40 out because it is just that flexible. I am definately going with a polaris jacket again next fall.

It would depend alot on how much you are willing to spend. Some of the brands are just stupidly outrageously priced. Sure they are probably good but so is the Polaris gear. I have all Cat gear and rode in some pretty cold windy conditions this winter, one night there were over -50 wind chills and never got cold once. I buy all my stuff from Kenssports. He always has really good deals on Polaris and Cat gear.

I bought a ski-doo X-team coat 5 years ago at the local dealer for $80.
When you look at it and pick it up, it looks and feels like a spring/fall coat, but that thing keeps me holding a good sweat all day long during the winter, even when it was dipping into the -30°C range.
Just always need to wear a balaclava because apparently my neck is too long/red for the collar of it...

I think you'd look good in the yellow suit. Make sure to get the matching hat.

Cool, Thanks guys... I'm gonna watch the clearance shelves this summer and see what I can end up with.
