I'm a sound engineer by profession, so feedback (this high pitch squeel you get when a microphone gets too close to a speaker) would be the top of my list, especially when it's NOT my fault, because then there is nothing I can do about it. It gets more annoying when the idiot who caused it is oblivious to it and keeps playing.

lower gear going out on a sled about 70 miles from home.. the sound is horrible.
Owning a race sled is like having a totally hot girlfriend..... All of your friends want to see it, feel it and check it out..... They all want to know what it is like to ride it, but if they only knew how much time and money it takes to keep one up, they would call you a fool!

Living in a house with 5 guys I could think of a million most annoying sounds in the world, but the biggest one is OBNOXIOUSLY loud snoring, when I get woken up 10 times a night by someones snoring I want to wake them up with a punch to the suck hole. Also the sound of the aluminum ramps getting pulled out on the rented cube vans makes me go insane, and I fill 32 of them a day.

I agree with Matts list. I hate sitting in my room when a ricer goes by. There is something leaning against my window, and the dang coffee can causes it to vibrate on the window and just annoys the crap out of me. I also hate almost every sound our Gator makes. When you try to stop, the brakes just creak and sound like they are about to fall off but the neighbor said its been like that since new. When you shift it you have to be sure your fully in gear. Otherwise when you go to give it throttle the gears just grind and it sounds like something is going to break and wont stop until you take it out of gear. I also hate the sound of my sled when a spark plug somehow comes loose and pops out. Its a very odd sound when its running on one cylinder.

If I romp on my GTO too hard before it's warmed up, it has a wicked lifter noise. Sends chills down my spine.

1. Kids with there rattly $200 audio systems that think they sound good.
2. The sound of someone cutting out on my phone when im trying to get important info like directions!
3. Someone getting all technical about everything i say!!!!!
4. Really loud hillbilly pipes on a truck.
5. Fart cans.
6. Squeaky belts.
7. Glass plates sliding together/ cups clinking together in the cuboard.
8. Door dingers.

Well just to simply put it I think Import Cars are the worst sounding things around I would rather listen to everything you all just stated and more before I hear those little cereal box cars!!!

^^I'm going to have to hurt you, but then I read the rest of the post and read the bit about the V8. Then I forgave you. That is a good sound. Oh, I forgot, those fart cans are actually louder than the car without a muffler at all. We just fixed a Hyundai with the muffler completely disconnected from the exhaust and it was not that loud.

Here's another one that "BUGS" me... A fly buzzing around a light inside a lamp shade often richocheting off the shade... ZzzzZzz-ping-zzz-ping-ping-etc...you get the idea.

I dont mind high powered imports that are actually built up right. But a $20 can from Advanced will drive me crazy. My thing is with imports and 4cyl is if you can hear the turbo over the rest of the car then its alright:)
