The sound the bus make son the way to school every time we go over a bump it squeaks and creaks like its about to break in half. But turbos are another sound that bother me. The high pitched whirring of the thing is really annoying. And the crap stereos kids put in their cars and turn the bass all the way up and then turn the rest down is annoying when all you can hear is the trunk of the car next to you buzzing like a mother ******.

If I romp on my GTO too hard before it's warmed up, it has a wicked lifter noise. Sends chills down my spine.

Missing a gear.

Mosquitos.

Squealing brakes.

When you accidentally turn the key when your vehicle is already running.

Someone trying to correct me when I'm right.

Missing that gear when you have a woman with you! Major embarrassment!

For me its people eating crunchy food in a quiet room or the sound of numerous keyboards being typed, like in an office. These sounds push my nerves to the limit. Lets hear some of your thoughts on what sounds make you go half insane.

harley davidsons, can't stand the noise 1 bit.

I'm with ya there...Cant stand it...I was pulled over by a trooper in WI for the exhaust being too loud on my truck, I asked him why all these Harleys can run around with open exhaust, his response was, "Its a tradition".

Not as embarrassing when trying to shut a ricer down. I had a bad holeshot against a punk in a Honda trying to be tough. Although, when the rear tires broke loose in 2nd and I flew by him, he understood.

Im another one that hates the sound of a mosquito in your ear when your trying to sleep!

some others i dont like are
1. The sound my sled makes while the motor winds down from WOT.
2. The sound of the leaf spring front suspension on my sled when it comes crashing back down to earth.
3. Finding neutral instead of 2nd on my dirtbike.

Cant think of any others at the moment.

Any BS noise made by anyone else that is louder than the background noise.

Do you honestly think were impressed by loud exhaust, stereos, foul language or anything else that makes you feel like a "man".

Keep your noise to yourself. No one wants to hear it.

I hate the sound an ice scraper makes when you get a thin layer of frost on your windows, and the squeaking sound of styrofoam (sp?) when it rubs together (for example when you pull something out of a box and the white crappy foam squeaks like a dying rat). Oh and whenever I tilt my head from side to side it sounds like there's a little metal ball in there, kind of like a spray paint can. I hate that noise too.

I hope I die like my grandpa did - quietly in his sleep... not like the rest of the people in the car.
