say what you want ,now there is 109 confirmed cases in the US plus 5 european country's and lord knows who else ,and ole by the way since it has thename swine flu ,now the hog market it down to 20 cents a pound for live animals ,ask your'e self thius how would you like to go to work ,but instead of getting a pay check you have to pay 20 bucks just to get in the gate

i hear ya pigs farmers have to hate this...they should have named it something else.. there is nothing wrong with our pork, hell i had pork chops for supper last nite and bacon and eggs this mornin'

Thats funny...Thats pretty sad that just because its named swine flu the prices drop out on pork, when it has nothing to do with pork. I read yesterday that Egypt ordered all 300,000 pigs in the country slaughter and disposed of.

Not to mention how many more times likely you are to contract it instead of swine flu.
With free health care here in Canada it bad enough waiting in the ER with all the yahoos that stubbed their toe or got stung by a bee. I havent been there in the last two weeks but im sure its full of people who sneezed this morning or feel something coming on.

Scientists can't get grant money unless there is something that people see as urgent. Make people scared and they will pay money to find a cure.
Same thing with the media. They can't attract customers by reporting the "nice" in the world so they have to take something simple and blow it out of proportion to make any money.
I heard a report that the regular flue kills 64,000 in America alone every year.
Anyone want to start a poll on what the next "emergency" the media will dream up to earn a buck????
