Anyone following the Stanley Cup playoffs?
Round 1 turned out not too bad as far as I was concerned. I was fired up the Canucks swept their series, game 1 of round 2 is tonight. I think they will have a tougher time with the Blackhawks as opposed to the Blues in Round 1. Being the sole remaining Canadian team, I hope they do well.
As far as Round 1 went, I was glad the Capitals won, screw the stupid NY Rangers. Pengins beating Philly was nice to see, it was too bad Calgary lost, woulda been sweet seeing Canucks against Flames in round 2, but that's how it goes I guess. Carolina had a pretty sweet ending to their series and I was glad the stupid Sharks lost against Anaheim. I don't particularly like the Ducks, but I like the Sharks less and they were all cocky about being #1 in the league so HA.
Now I just hope Detroit loses. I really don't like them...

Ya it would be nice if they went all the way.
Its gotten to the point were toronto needs hope just to get a playoff spot......and our fan base is still probably the largest, its mind boggling.

i'm with ya i hate detroit, i am pulling for the blackhawks, they are a young fast team and don't really respect anyone, which can be good or bad

Red wings win too much.. it would be nice to see them lose out.. along with stupid penuins.. but Betman likes the penguins and crosby too much so he won't let them lose.. Flyers should have owned them.. Go caps and canucks!!

I KNOW for a fact that Vancouver is going to be one of the two in the final round.
Anaheim is going to get raped this series.

Well both my teams are out. My Eastern Conference team, well, we won't talk about that... My Western Conference team just got kicked out by the Blackhawks. Time to cheer for the Canucks. Go Canada.
I gotta respect the Red Wings, they're a pretty good team, but I still hate them... Plus they kicked the Winnipeg Jets out of the playoffs in their last year in Winnipeg. Sure it was 13 years ago, but I'm still bitter.
I can only please one person per day, today is not your day... Tomorrow doesn't look good either...

The canucks almost blew a win yesterday. Thats what i like about playoffs. They always play till the final buzzer.

I was joking haha  I used to live in Pontiac and had season tickets almost every year! I used to walk to the games, lol. Only reason i like the Wings so much! Otherwise i like Canucks.

I liked the Red Wings in the past, but now that we have a Local team here,(the Columbus Blue Jackets) and I have done some work for their goalies, they are my #1 team now.
Every one has jumped on the band wagon with the Wings also. That turns me off with almost anything. Now they are simply a team I admire for many reasons but especially how well they adjust to play-offs and really turn things up a few notches.

A lot of provinces are starting to grow a lot more lately......hopefully their will be some money for some more NHL teams.

Hehe, the Canucks got what they deserved. They need to step it up if they are gonna win and they weren't doing it, so they lost. The Hawks never give up, good team to watch. Even if the Canucks lose, it's gonna be a great series.

^^^ They are a great team to watch, but still a young team that needs some learning. They have been getting better at it, but one problem is they need to learn how to pace their energy. The hawks come out looking to rip heads off, and it has caught up to them by the end of the second, and the whole third, in some games.

Montreal is trying to legally make Detroit take down all of its "Hockeytown" signs cause they think they are hockeytown. With winning 4 titles in the past 11 years, and soon to be a 5th one, we are hockeytown, and a bomb will only take those banners down. i love my red wings, i will support them til im 6 feet under.
