After watching 98700xc run his sled all summer long for the past 2 years, I figured what the hell..I'll give it a shot. I got started pulling it apart, my buddy and I took it from snow forum to asphalt ready in a little under 4 hrs, we were slammin the parts in and out. Well I guess once you have done it 7 8 times, its pretty simple. Any one else getting set up to run on the tar this year?

No need to cool the track it rides on wheels, you remove the hyfax and add more inner wheels. Were only running a 1/4 mile at a time, with 5 min breaks.

What brand of skis do you run? If you made them, what kind of wheels did you use?

^^^ I'm in Chicago Ridge/Oak Lawn Area. I'm a hour from Lowell,IN and a 1 1/2 from the track. Let me if you find out some times. I have a lot going on sat. but might be able to make it. Out of the 8 years I have been going there, I've only seen about 4 sleds run there.
As to the topic I'm just collecting parts to build one. I should be getting my water craft cases any day.
