The 87' was promised a make-over, and a make-over is what its getting.

So far what has came in:
-Arctic cat yellow snow flap
-98 RMK steering post
-Yamaha V-max handlebars
-Unknown year XLT hood
-Cobra Chrome low-profile windshield
-Extra-10 121" skid

Still waiting on delivery:
-FTX billet Throttle block
-FTX billet handle/master cylinder
-Gel grip wraps
-extended brake line
-Throttle extension
-97' XLT fox shocks (with no rust)
There is still more I'm looking for, mainly the coil-over kit for the extra-10. If anyone has one lying around, shoot me a PM.

I'm not keeping the 144" finger track, far too much weight for it to turn. Just going to get a nice 136" with 1.5" lugs.

Already in the process of making a new tunnel extension, old one is off and in pieces waiting to be dissected to make the new one.

If you're going to use a 136 track why put a 121 skid in it? 136 x-10 skids are going really cheap on ebay right now. You could probably get a 136 x-10 for about the same as new extensions for the 121 would cost (plus you could sell the 121 x-10 for very near what the 136 x-10s are selling for).

The geometry/dynamics are completely different with a 136 x-10 than what you get with an extended 121. They put the torque arms farther apart on longer skids for a reason. I'm not saying that extensions don't work. Of course they work, but how will an extended 121 x-10 ride/perform compared to a 136 x-10?

Just some food for thought.

I haven't seen **** for good suspensions on e-bay.

Got this one from another forum member just a little drive from me for fairly cheap. Not to mention shipping on a skid to where I am would cost more than the skid itself...
