well here we go now because i listen to thrash metal from the 80s does that meen my brain is under powered? does it meen i do drugs? well i dont know why dont you ask polarisman he seems to think so because i pointed out how kirk hammet is not a good guitar player and he writes this as a comment:

I had typed a reply to this, but then I went and listened to a song by this band "kreator" you mentioned and decided that a 15 year old who listens to that is lacking processing power in his brain and therefore his un-educated comment can be ignored.

you say this band "kreator" as if your dissing them, just to let you know they are far superior than metallica. and another thing you say im missing power in my brain because i listen to that, haha wow you have to get a life your making fun of a kid because he knows more then you do about guitar. i actualy play guitar so i know what is and isnt hard to play. another thing is kirk hammet has never written a solo by him self its always james and lars who tell him what to do, he tried once on the unforgiven but they hated it. so next time you wanna lecture someone on how much brain power they have why dont you just keep your mouth shut ok?
now someone who doesnt play guitar who doesnt listen to other thrash bands says that im "lacking processing power in his brain" why? because i know more then him? who knows i play guitar i play very difficult music to play i know my music and i know what im talking about, i dont need him saying that because he feels like it.
now anyone else wanna try me? come on try and diss my music, thing is hes dissing himself because metallica "where" a thrash metal band and hes dissing one the greatest thrash metal bands of all time "KREATOR". dont diss my music, and dont give an un-educated response to a fact that was posted.

I personally cant stand thrash, and I could never really stomach Metallica either. But thats my opinion, everyone has their own likes and dislikes. You probably wouldnt like some of the music I listen to either. Saying your brain was lacking and that you were uneducated was probably uncalled for, but you kinda took a jab at him by quoting him and basically saying Hammet s*cks, bring it to him in a pm.

Kreator has sucked d!ck from the get go!
Metallica wrote the manifisto with Kill 'Em All and had the revolution with Ride the Lighting. But of course that was before you were born and apprently you have no appreciation of where your music came from.
By the way, Metallica has also sucked d!ck since Master of Puppets just to be fair.

I agree for the most part, except I'd say Metallica went downhill since ...And Justice For All and flat out sucked since St. Anger.
As for creating this topic to spite me... To each their own I guess.

revolution with ride the lightning? it came out in 1984, slayers show no mercy came out in 1983 wich was alot faster then kill em all. dark angel was formed in 1981 they went to the same school as metallica and there demo came out in 1984. i do know where my music comes from. dont try and lecture me on where my music comes from just because you where alive when it was arund i know alot more then you do about thrash. ya i liked the old metallica but i think mustaine is alot better then hammet. did you know that when kirk came into metallica just before they recorded kill em all, that was supose to be called "metal up your ass" and when kirk came into metallica he used almost all of mustaines solos didnt write any of his own.
and yes metallica went down hill after and justice fo all, i dont care if you dont like my music i get it all the time at school, everyone has there own opinion. but i just didnt like the fact that he said my brain was under powered thats all it was late and i was pissed. now i realy dont like kirk i dont like the fact that he always uses the wah pedel and whammy pedel, and it is a fact he doesnt write his solos by himself. now that i let it out i feel better. but its just you people who dont listen to the music and listen to modern music listen to the singing not the music i coul care less what there voice sounds like its the music that matters, but what ever it doesnt matter.

- You need to use proper spelling
- You need to use proper grammar
- You need to use capital letters when required
- You need to learn that no one cares about petty arguments on the internet

I thought the threads get more technical and interesting in the summer time? IMO theres really no point in arguing about music, everyone has there own taste. No one will ever be right about what music is "the best", in our head the music we listen to is "the sh!t" and the crap you listen to SUCKS. You asked for my thoughts, there you go.
