Our latest adventure was we had to move this 10x10 sun room 2 miles. We had to tether the guy on top to make sure we didnt snag any power lines. All in all it was an easy job took about 5 hours total.

In NY, that guy tethered on the roof would have been ticketed for not wearing a seatbelt, and the driver ticketed for driving the vehicle with a passenger without a proper seat belt.. Even tethering him down here is no good because it's not a properly designed auto-retracting seatbelt.

We even get tickets here, driving our trucks from one telephone pole to the next, with a worker in the bucket. (and he's strapped in with a certified fall-arrester harness, and hard-hat!!!)

95 - Storm 800 - Modded - AKA: FrankenStorm - Totalled near 100mph at Tug Hill!

Wow and the sun room had a tin roof. Have fun trying to keep your feet on that thing!

Seems a little unnecessary lol

As long as he had fun!

We passed a couple state boys and a local county cop on the way, never said anything about the guy on top. They actually helped to block traffic and get us there a little faster. We were lucky we had him sit up there, the flat bed is 4 1/2 ft off the ground plus another 11-12 feet for the sun room, we would of hit a few power line on the road we were moving it to. I think having him strapped up there is better than ripping a few power lines down!

The UP is somewhat known for being less strict on laws like that. I can understand why they didnt create a ruckus. Still, how safe is it for him to be close to 15 feet in the air lifting power lines? Oh well, no one got hurt or anything, how exactly did you get it on the flatbed?

There is nothing more satisfying than speed. Speed is addictive, remember you can only go faster.
