In the past it has been particularly time consuming and difficult to comment on images because if they were posted in the forum you would have to go to the gallery, click here, click there, etc, etc....just a pain. I've been meaning to do this for a long time and finally got around to it today. When you click on any image from the forum, the homepage, etc you now have the option to view the comments and leave your own comment without even leaving the image. See below:

Image Comments

When you click on the thumbnail to enlarge you'll see three icons. The first tells you how many comments that image has, the second brings you to the image in the gallery so you can see other details, and the third allows you to open the original (and probably larger...much larger in some cases) file. When you click the comment icon the screen will load the comments and a box for you to leave your own. To get back to the image simply click the thumbnail. Pretty simple stuff. I hope it will make things easier and encourage people to comment on an image when they see something interesting.

I'm also going to tinker with setting a little comment icon directly in the corner of all thumbnails for images which have comments. That way you will be able to see which images have been commented on without even clicking the thumbnail.

NOTE: You might have to do a ctrl+F5 (page refresh) so that the cached JavaScript file on your computer is updated otherwise this will be screwy
