I picked up some old snowmobiles and parts and one of the engines I have never seen before, it has CCW on the recoil. If anyone has any information on these and what snowmobiles they came in I would appreciate it. I did look them up a little bit on the internet and come up with alot of Raider snowmobile stuff.

Also the old john deere sleds had ccw i believe on it and kioritz was some part names

There a Canadian motor. pretty common motor.
I had one in my Northway and Raider.

It is a Canadian Curtis Wright engine. A lot of the sleds from the early 70's used them I know the older Rupps used them before they went with a Japanese engine.

I have a couple in old John Deere sleds. JD used them with Walboro and Bendix carb configurations. Good info can be had on the jdsleds website......Good luck

Scorpion also had them in the mid 70's
The 440 reed valve CCW was a screaming motor. I think it was in the super stinger II sleds. A buddy had one and that thing screamed.

I think the JDX Deere sleds had the reed valve engine as well

I think CCW canadian curtis wrights, tohatsus, Chaparall, wer all made by the Fuji corp.. I may be wrong....The run pretty well...
