Glenn Grozich (owner of billet specialties) car. I was lucky enough to see this car getting built a handfull of times. A lot of very fine detail.

A mountain lion roaming the prairie found a bull, killed it and ate the entire bull. With a heavy belly, unable to walk, the lion laid in the tall grass moaning and roaring. Soon a hunter, attracted by the roaring, shot and killed the lion. Moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut!

The Eliminator was only made for 2 years. A twin to the Mach 1, with different skin.

I bought it for dirt cheap in 88 before the muscle car prices went crazy. The guy I bought it from had been drag racin' it, and sold it for $2,500 because it had rod-knock... I drove it around for about 2 months while I built another shortblock for it, then swapped the motor when the bearings spun. Not the original block anymore, and it has headers, 10.5:1 TRW flat tops, 510/536 lift 280/290 duration Isky cam with 4deg. advance, 3 angle valve job, 3.90 gears w/detroit locker, etc..

With the 850 double pumper it would get the wheels up a bit hopping it, but only get about 4 mpg.. Running the 650 vacuum, it would at least get 10 mpg.

Unfortunately, it was driven in NY salt before I got it, so it needs restoration.. Several years ago I went to put a carpet in it, and pulled up the floorboards with the old carpet matting. What sucks, is the car is uni-body, so it needs the floorboards for structure. It's been parked in the barn for a couple years waiting for me to have cash and time to restore it, but I just posted for and got an engineering position in my company, so between the extra pay and no more traveling the project can finally move forward. (Frankenstorm is just getting my fabbing skills brushed back up)

That was my very 1st car......50,000 miles on her in 1978, gold with black stripes. It had a muncie rock crusher that would literally fry the rubber off in all 4 gears. I had it painted black w/white stripes and had to get 3 buds to cruise with me so I could afford the gas. Drove it to football practice one day and a classmates dad saw it and had his kid ask me if it was for sale....I like a retard I said yes,,,,,everything is for sale. He asked how much and I said 2 grand thinking no-one would pay that.(I paid 500 bucks for the car) Well he bought it.

So I went and bought a 1969 Roadrunner 383 mag. 727 tranny w/plum crazy paint for 500 dollars. A year later I started college and needed a more fuel friendly buggy to drive.......My folks traded me a Gremlin for the RR and they sold the Roadrunner for 75 bucks?????????

After Mustangs, Chargers, as well as many others I decided to buy another Chevelle ss. After much research I found out that 50-60% are now fakes or clones. I refuse to pay top dollar for a fake ss so I bought a 71 sport coupe. I am partial to the round tail lights and no vinyl tops. Also I have owned this Corvette since 1989
