Just curious as to who watches the sport. It is the largest growing sport in the world. Turn on Verses or Spike at about 8 o'clock at night and you can garuntee to see a fight happening. It's getting big! I begin my training today for it at the Octagon Fight Club by my house. It's not a huge gym, but there is alot of one on one training cause it is so small. Specializing in Jujutsu and joint manipulation. I'm excited to go, really really excited. Does anyone else fight mma or have they previously? Any simple pointers when it comes to training outside of the gym? (besides running, push ups, sit ups, the obvious).

I fight at a amateur level. Yes I watch fights on TV also. I like Dream and UFC the most. There's a few fighters I follow it other origination's too. I just don't have the time with work and my other hobbies to train enough to go pro. Plus I don't really care that much anyway.

What's your problem? RUFWM?

Yeah my biggest thing is just to get in better shape and throw a few bows while doing it. I dont plan on going pro or anything. Just for fun and to shed a few pounds.

Depending on where you are in Michigan, Dan "The Beast" Severn offers training in Coldwater at very reasonable rates. For as bad axx as he is, he is very nice and caring person.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Yes, Hall of Famer UFC, I've met him before and he is a really nice guy. I'm actually training with a guy who trained under Dan.
