I see what you're getting at, but where did the "rape women" thing come from?

I've been drunk my fair share of times and many parties and nobody has ever been raped... I realize with drunkness comes stupidity but not necessarily going so far as to rape women...

Every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. That means every day you see me, that's the worst day of my life.

We had the Grad party a couple of days ago. No one puked, no one died and everyone got a safe ride home.

The main point of this is to keep kids from driving drunk. Another town near here had another grad party, and two kids were killed in a drunk driving accident, and from what i had heard another was in critical condition.

Wow sounds like these kids that choose to party need to learn control or better judgement. 1/4 of our highschool parties and I haven't heard of anyone dieing in a drunken accident in 5-10 years around here.....

I went to a graduation part Saturday. No one kid drank a drop, there was 15 plus people, we had a ton of fun, and i have never had a drink in my life. All because i choose to. Im around alcohol alot, and i have never had any. Stop fussing over someone's personal choice. An online forum is not gonna change anyone's mind.

mackinsaw Thinks it's mighty convient for the neighbor to wait untill there's snow on the ground and to ask me if I would do him a massive favour and cut his firewood for the winter for money as he is incapable. Dang I got some work cut out for the next few days.

To: All the uptight people who "don't drink" and "frown upon the parents allowing this to happen"

These parents are realistic. They know their kid is gonna go get hammered regardless. I realize that there are some who "don't need alcohol" but most people think "party = booze".

I rarely drink anymore but back when I was 15 - 16 through like... well 24 or 25 every party resulted in being hammered. Party was just an excuse for drinking.

As for "this will get these kids started". BS, they have probably been getting drunk for awhile and will continue to do so. Also if it's on private property and the parents are providing the booze, it's not illegal. A cop stated that in the article.

There is fun to be had without alcohol, I know this. But when you're 17 or 18 and graduating from high school, there is way more fun to be had with alcohol.

I dunno, to each their own. Our safe grad was parents driving us home. I don't remember anything past midnight. I know there was a girl who had wanted me to bring her to grad with me, but I was more interested in getting hammered and didn't want the hassle. So some other dude brought her, then after some drinks she ended up ditching him and hanging out with me all night. I didn't have to buy her anything or do anything and still ended up being in the right place later in the night... Hehehe

I woke up at home at like 3 in the afternoon the next day. Everyone else went "grad camping" to get drunk and I went to the field to row crop cultivate. Figures, I pick farming over partying.

I couldn't have said it any better..

I lived in a poor town and we had nothing better to do then get drunk at house parties. We started partying and getting hammered at the age of 14 because we hung with the older guys, and ya we got wayyyyy to hammered way to many times and did stupid things but we couldn't get into a car and kill somebody driving home, because we couldn't drive. Now we can handle our alcohal and don't make those stupid desicions and get into multiple fights every party we go to. If you learn how to control it young you don't be an idiot about it when you have enough responsibilty to get in a vehicle and kill somebody..

I just came home from a party, everyone except our DD's were drinking. we had one fight that was broken up. Maybe it is just Lanigan, we are known for having pretty Rough and Rowdy parties.
