Hmmmmm, my CDI has no numbers on it like that.

Mine has the following, Front side:

4010992
CU7251
3G23

Back side:
051

I never checked what colors the wires were on my CDI as I just thought that would be too confusing.

I checked the wires that go to my PERC switch(on the handlebars) and there's a brown wire, and a silver wire. They go into a rectangular connector.

I will check more wires if you need me to.

No problem man. I like helping people, people don't help each other enough in this world nowadays as far as I'm concerned, but that's a topic for another day. This could be the Jack Daniel's talking as well.

Are you using the 440 or 800 wiring harness?

I didn't see any for an 04 pro x but just as an example, they make kits like the one here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/POLARIS-P...1024wt_784

I know its the wrong one. But it proves they make something to add PERC to a sled without reverse for a fair price.

Don't even bother with mechanical reverse, adding PERC is cheap on that sled and it doesn't add any weight.

Your sled already has the secondary clutch, oil pump, flywheel, etc. to add PERC.

I'm pretty sure all 2004 Polaris 800cc snowmobiles came from the factory with PERC.

Which means all you're probably missing is the button to activate it and an ER helix for your secondary.

Go look at the sled and see if you can find a plug that's not used under the hood by the console, should be a white connector I think. There will be a black connector that's not used as well(that's an accessory plug-in). CDI should have a number on the back of it, post that number and hopefully we can find out if it has PERC. I can compare it to the number on my CDI if needed.

Since you already have the 2004 motor I think this is going to be alot cheaper to add PERC than you think. Under $100 I bet.

Im wondering more if anyone knows if this is possible for sure....100 bucks sounds a lot better than 400, and like a lot less work. The motors out of a 2004 prox 800
