Just great!!! You gotta read this!!!

http://www.wausaudailyherald.com/apps/pb...0990612158
http://www.wausaudailyherald.com/apps/pb...9906130489

This is the biggest load of bull-crap I've ever heard...charges dropped for the slaughter of those deer.

I think there's a judge and three men (no, not men, looooosers!!!) that need to be hung by their BALLS!!!!

Now, it must be O.K. for everyone to do this........as long as your hunting!!!
This REALLY PISSES me off, as we face a possible FIVE mile trail closure, and who knows what the other land owners will do. Will they be pissed enough to close their land too? And to re-route the trail, who's gonna want to have people like that on their land??? I wouldn't!! I better stop 'cause I think I made my point on how I feel!!!

That doesnt make any sense since he was illegally hunting out of season anyways, and probably at night time.

One of those "cant fix stupid" moments.

That is B.S !!!!!!!!! I didn't know you can hunt with a snowmobile, as a weapon.

So, now because of these azzholes, we have to worry about the trails. If this is to ever happen agian, by some copy cats land owners already know the outcome in court, and will shut their land down for good.

What a joke!!!

Did they even shoot one?

Am i missing something, or are the judges allowing the sleds to be used as weapons?

Maybe we all should make up a letter and have everyone from all over the U.S. send them a copy. But, would it do anything??? Maybe give them the fact that the people do NOT approve what's happening.

How is running over 4 deer out of season then leaving them lay along a trail considered hunting? Interesting how they came up with that conclusion.

Sounds as if that defense came about since the WI DNR used the term in their charges against these clowns. It is a shame that the outcome of this is probably not really going to bring the proper amount of justice against the 3 of these guys.

These guys are god damned retards by any standard. But the thing that pisses me off is that they probably werent thinkin that they were hunting when they were mobbin it over a deer, and still the slimy god foresaken lawyer still figured out a way to present it to the judge and get them off the hook.

Lawyers should all be round up an shot, bunch of slimy bastards...

Whats the difference between a dead deer on a a snowmobile trail and a dead lawyer on a snowmobile trail?

well i was gonna say that there were skid marks before the deer...

I highly doubt the DNR in WI and the District Attorney will let it go. I bet you will see them charged with something else, they probably went after the animal cruelty because it was the most serious crime they could charge them with. They can still charge them with other crimes, and dont forget, one of them did get caught with a stolen snowmobile I believe.

Hey guys settle down just a bit. I agree that dropping the charges sucks but had the DA done his research before having a knee jerk-public opinion driven-reaction, there would have been no charges filed. The law the defense attorny cited is there to protect us honest law abiding hunters from crack pots like PETA.

We should be upset at the DNR!!!!!!! They did not get it right again!! And this is really just 20-20 hindsight but could they have not waited a day or two BEFORE issuing the ticket? It would have given them time to coordinate with the state over criminal charges.

If you lived in our area you would know that there was INTENSE public pressure to find the persons responsible. MY guess is that the DNR wanted to get these guys for something!! Lord knows that the public is not very happy with our DNR the past few years. Imagine the out cry if they did not issue those citations.

I know this sounds like I am defending the DNR but I don't like their policies any more than the landowners who closed their land to snowmobilers and were prepared to close their land to hunting this fall.

I only hope the landowners decide to keep the trails open.

I also heard that. Don't know how true it is but, I heard that some of their rap sheets are not the best. One had attempted murder charges against him at some time, for some bar fight. Then later that night leaving the bar, he accidentally hit the guy with his car. Don't know how true that is?

Yes, he stole the sled used to run the deer over.

No matter what happens in court, these mutts will get the beat down they so richly deserve! And you know who turned them in?? The girlfriend!! She was on the back of one of the sleds. I wonder if she will get the reward money??

DNR simply stands for do nothing right! this case surely seems to reinforce that idea. I have no clue how they can let this slide, and not make an arguement on their own.

The trial judge now says these idiots were "over charged" and that the prosecutor should drop either the felony charges or the DNR charges.

Someone better do his homework before deciding what to do!!!!
