how much clearance do you have to the cooler in the front with the 2" track ? i have 8T drivers, do you think a 1,75"track would fit ?

1.75" might be pushing it but it should fit my 2" would just fit with the 8 tooth but remember you need at least a 1/2 inch of clearance at the cooler. Worst case if it dosen't fit cut the track to 1.50".

Here's a picture of my 1996 XCR 440, paid $300.00 it was an absolute mess, and still is, but it's getting better. It needed new shocks, so i was searching craigslist found a 1996 XLT with fox shocks, good trailing arms, semi decent seat, for $75.00, i bought it i'm in the process of replacing the front end with the front end from the Xlt. I added RSI 15 degree bars, powermadd star series handguards, powermadd 4" riser, new torsion springs, and fox shock in the back. Waiting until i can afford a fox rear shock for the back as well. Im also going to get a VA tunnel extension for the 136" track im going to be running, other mods include milled heads, DG pipe/can, wiseco top end, ported by aeaen performance. Hoping to get a tempa flow, or ataac system as well. I paid $100.00 for a 1.5 inch paddle track, and i'm also looking for a pair of factory plastic skis, and perhaps a Pro X shorty seat as well. And, i have a very minimal amount of money in this snowmobile About $1,000 after all the current mods. C:\Users\Atrembley\Pictures\2009-06-19 SLED\SLED 001.jpg It ain't the prettiest, but it's mine, and its not going to break the bank if something happens. I am doing all the work myself, other then the porting as well, like most people on this forum. I'd rather build something myself rather then pay someone.

In the future, i'd like to sell the DG pipe, and get a price performance exhaust blank, and fit my own. Or get an aean pipe instead.

Nice, i like it a bit. i'd like to find a 'nice' set of skis for sale, but as seeing how the whole idea of my sled is to build something on the cheap, i'll probably try to find a set of factory plastic skis. As seeing how there are more pressing issues atm, like the right hand trailing arm un able to be bolted on? I'm also looking for a new seat, a pro x shorty would be prime. there's one on the bay for $200 atm, about what it'll cost to have mine re-covered, shaved, and new foam. so i'm on the fence.
