Well the wife and I took a trip over to Coeur d'Alene Idaho, had ourselfs a fun trip and also picked up a new sled. This sled did not start out as anything. It was pieced together with all new parts in 2002. The only parts that where bought from pure polaris was the engine, track, belly pan, hood and skis. everything else is aftermarket.
For $2000 this is what I got.
800 polaris engine
53 Series Areodyne Turbo with all the fixins pushing out 11 lbs of boost at 220 hp
Originally Jack Harris put the turbo together
Elkholm tunnel
Elkholm rear skid
Boss seat
156 camo track
Holtz front end suspension (everything)
Avenger III digital readout
Wildchild steering post
Cat secondary
Plus all the other little things
The hood is trashed but he through in a brand new one with it. Although one of the first things i'm gunna do to it is put a mountainfit hoods nose cone on so I can fit the red edge hood I have laying on it. If any of you have Thunderstruck II, this sled was playin king of the hill in that video.
Oh yeah this is my backup sled. I snowchecked a 2010 Arctic Cat M8 snopro a few months ago. Anyone need a REV 800?
2010 Arctic cat snopro 153
2005 M7 153. -Wifes sled
2002 Polaris built 800 turbo. Not a thing is stock.
2003 RMK 800 edge

That sled is extremely wicked I wish I was able to live in a place where I could use that big of a sled all though I do not mind my 121 inch track in the powder though.
1998 Polaris Indy 500 chassis with 98 Xc 600 motor
SLP ceramic coated pipe with SLP can
V-force reeds
4 inch pivot riser
Gutted Air Box

Looked again, aren't you worried about pulling sh!t into the turbo? Or are you going to have a filter?

WOW that is one heck of a deal!!! Can you imagine the money it would take to build that sled today? The M8 will be a sick ride too, but when you want to make some noise The polaris will be the way to go! Very cool sled with a little TLC that thing will be a show sled!
