Anybody have any good tips and tricks for beefing up an old wedge Indy chassis as far as strenght and durability?

Those chassis are around aplenty..

Just abuse yours and replace it, save the weight of extra hardware..

i pounded 1/2 roundstock into that hole in the running boards so they quit warping :) so far so good

^^ Did the same thing, then welded it in the open part of the roll. It helped a lot!!

Thanks for the idea guys. Were there extra tunnel suports that were assed on later in production?
