Check out www.denniskirk.com they have many pipes that would fit your sled. Although you would be fine just running a can with your stock pipe, saves you like $200.

i garantee you there no pipes for the 500 liquid, if there is, theres no point no power gains at all. unless its the one with reed valves? but i dont think so.

what are you talking about dekk85 there is nothing wrong with a nice rumble to your sled. And what are you talking about that it is making the sport look bad. Alot of people have pipes so deal with it it 95% of the people on this site have pipes or silencers.

do a poll next winter, (when the most people are on) .....I will bet your wrong...Yes, most sleds have a silencer stock....But,If you are saying aftermarket pipes or aftermarket silencers.....I think you are way off.

Yes 440 Raceman I agree. I love the sound of a MBRP screaming up a mountain. It was Triple650 who was against loud exhaust. Please read the whole thread next time.

I remember back in the nineties when alot of guys ran the Indy 500. At that time there were few sleds that outran them on the trails. To get more top speed out of them some guys shortened the "Y" pipe, thus making max HP at higher RPM and more top speed. I think most would shorten about 1/4", but not sure about that. Also, some guys cut the pipe open and removed the baffles and welded them back up.

hey dodger i never said that i needed my sled to be loud i just like a nice tone i sled with someone who has loud pipes and i think sometimes it can get really anoying he has a mach 1 700 tripple with tripple crankshop pipes and seperate cans it would get annoying trail riding for a day but im not saying it dosnt sound cool just too loud

haha i dont have a problem with cans at all, im saying for that sled you cant get a can, and the pipes are useless, the most you would gain by shortening the manifold would be the most 5 hp not worth it, sell it buy a better sled.

Where did I say YOU like loud exhausts??? I said many kids here and some adults. Does that mean you? NO! (you do say loud exhaust sound cool though) I disagree

take a deep breath and save your cash for a performance sled. Until then enjoy your reliable Indy 500. Also be thankful we have the chance to sled at this point in our life, and lets PROTECT THAT RIGHT any way we can.
