There are more important people to mourn than MJ. I don't buy the idea of what an epic influence he had on music also. If anything, I think he Inspired people to put out crap similar to his own stupified pop songs.
Just never got it. Could not see what people enjoyed about his music  .

Just because he was a decent musician in some people's eyes, i personally could care less for his music, doesn't make things better for the children he raped. It just blows me away how people can excuse him from the fact that hes a child molester just because he put out some music that wasnt as crappy as the crappier music at the time. I personally hate this guy and hope he rots in hell for what he did.

They also said that in the last week or two the boy (or two?) confessed that it was all made up. Guess it was too late.
Anyone else see that it was made up? Is that in the news online? I don't care either way but like to keep up with the news.
I do know one thing, I would rather see MJ in the news other than some stupid bad news on the economy.. then good news on the economy on another station. I think the economy is getting better just because people are not watching the damn media.

My opinion, probably gonna get lots of "-" clicks. I don't care.
1. He didn't molest any children. Anyone who belives this is an idiot. It was stupid money-grubbing idiots. Fancy that, it happened in the USA. Go figure. Make up a story to sue a celebrity and hope to cash in. Makes sense.
2. I don't like his music. But no one can deny he was talented and was an icon. Now he's dead. Big deal.
3. His death is bringing on just as much retarded media and other attention as his "child molesting" accusations. Someone is making cash off this. Once again, god bless the USA. This topic is an example.
4. Does it really matter? No. It doesn't. But some people apparently get off with accusations and discussion about things they don't know. So it goes on.
As for other stuff, this Farrah Fawcett who apparently also croaked, I don't give a damn about her either. Apparently she was some sort of icon with some famous poster, I looked it up. Yeah, not that much of a turnon, but I guess I wasn't a teenager in the, what was it? 70's? Who cares? She's not hot. I care about her less than I care about Michael Jackson. At least Michael Jackson wrote "smooth criminal" that Alient Ant Farm covered and at least that sounds half-decent.
My point?
Everything boils down to money. Parents know that they probably brought their kids to Jackson's place, since he had a theme park and whatnot, decided they could get cash for accusing him of something and went for it. This results in media attention and since everyone is always so absorbed into stupid drama, people fell for it. Regardless, some idiots believe it and some idiots don't. It creates a bunch of stupid discussion and stuff that concerns nobody. But as someone who is an icon of sorts, it carries on and on and on and on and on...
As for the mentioning of Farrah Fawcett's death, no drama, nobody cares. She apparently didn't molest children. However I heard from someone that she preferred guys over the age of 80. Maybe that will make the news.
Ok, I may have consumed too may beverages before writing this.

^ I read online that his insurance company paid out and MJ was all over them to not pay as he did not do it. They did it to avoid more bad publicity I bet. Who knows. You know that staples center memorial they are doing and how many people want tickets. On yahoo they said they are issueing wrist bands with your tickets. It gets put on you when you get the tickets and if it is altered when you enter, you don't get in. They are doing it to prevent scalping. Too late. There are people on ebay selling their tickets so someone that wins the auction can go pick them up and get the wrist band. I don't believe he was a talented musician at all. All he could do is sing, there were a million other vocalists out there just as if not more tallented during his time. Most vocalists also play some sort of instrument simultaneously. it was his stupid dancing that brought him into the spotlight, which really should have nothing to do with record sales.
Pop music is just that, It sucks, and lives a short life until the next top ten moves in. Get over it
