Ugly_old_Poo_kid That is a very cool set up. Too bad I live so close to people and less then 1500ft from the police station because basically any type of firework(s) is illegal. It would be cool to set off a bunch on the 4th.

Fireworks aren't legal in NY either.

Heh... I live next door to the local fire department, and 1/2 mile from the local NYS Trooper Barracks. They have a clean view of my fireworks across the valley that separates us.

The first year, a guy from the fire department parked in the corner of the parking lot and watched my fireworks. When I was done, I made a show of cleaning up and rolling up my hose. The next several years, the same guy bought fireworks from me. 10 years later, I stopped for a 10 minute break in the middle of my show so I could drink a beer, and heard at least 10 others doing fireworks around me. (don't call me a bad influence)

The only problem that I had with the law, was when I left an entire gross of whistling bottle rockets setup in the launch pad, and one of my drunk guests lit them all off at 1am.. Then a trooper stopped by, and we said that we were all done. He left without indecent.

Spent the last two months in the hottest hell hole on earth. Been in the mid 90s for as long as I care to look back with humidity to let fish live on land it seems. Been smoked, knocked around, beat on, and enjoyed every minute of it because I have been doing the things most never even think of doing let alone are able to. Life is good, summer sucks bring on the snowy Mtns of Afghanistan.

Recognizing that I volunteered as a Ranger, fully knowing the hazards of my chosen profession, I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor, and high esprit de corps of the Rangers. Acknowledging the fact that a Ranger is a more elite soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea, or air, I accept the fact that as a Ranger my country expects me to move further, faster and fight harder than any other soldier. Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be, one-hundred-percent and then some. Gallantly will I show the world that I am a specially selected and well-trained soldier. My courtesy to superior officers, neatness of dress and care of equipment shall set the example for others to follow. Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country. I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might. Surrender is not a Ranger word. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country. Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on to the Ranger objective and complete the mission though I be the lone survivor.
