So I bought a garage heater from my buddy. It's a Reznor (I think) and it's the kind that hangs from the ceiling. He was running it off of propane but assured me I could convert it fairly easily. Anyone ever done this? I can snap a pic if needed but I'm sitting in my basement and that would involve walking up steps LOL.

I think you just hook up in a different spot. My stove had to inputs, one was for Natural gas and the other for propane.

All you need to do to convert it is change the orfices in the burners. I forget which way they go if they need to be bigger or smaller. If they need to be bigger you can just drill them out. If you know a heating guy just ask him. He should have a bit set and a chart that tells you what size orfice you need to convert. Just think of it as the main jet in a carbourator. Nat. burns with more or less power than LP so you need more or less fuel.

There are kits made for converting these from one to another. Don't just start drilling jets and such. Get a kit. Contact the manufacturer or a local supplier. Hate to hear if your shop burned down...
