Real Sorry to hear about this Darin.
I wish you the best of luck, in whatever you end up doing.
I'm gonna miss doing business with you, your product's have alway's been top notch.
Glad I got My last order in before this happened.
Rick

Thanks Rick,
Yours is THE last order GWR sold.
I had to grab some cable ends to get yours done, so it's actually going to be done Friday

For the over head questions, It's over 25K before the sales ever start in bare minimum inventory and another 20K plus mid way through the shows just to keep up.
It keeps going from there, taxes, show entrys, travel to the shows, etc etc

These are the people who work to keep our riding areas open.
It's free to join and it really does help

Sure sorry to hear about business. It' obvious you do great work, just from the resposes on this thread. I can relate with your situation. I'm just starting to get my feet back on the ground after 2 years without my main seasonal contract.
Maybe you can approach this business from a different angle after you have had some time away from it? I have a friend who is a marketing guru I am going to speak to myself some time soon. I will forward her link to you sometime soon. Good luck Darin!

You had some supportive words for me, when I was in the dumps this winter and it really helped. You sound very possitive so keep it up and you will make some great things happen. PM any time.
Rick

Darin, I know after pouring so much blood, sweat and tears(now!) into something like this, it has gotta suck big time!!! It's stories like this that you won't see on T.V., uncle sam keeps pouring $$ into these huge failing corps to keep them going yet the little guys that really make this country go are taking it in the you know what, just to keep thier heads above water!!! I know you'll come outa this just fine, anyone that has enough gumption to start thier own business from scratch will find a way to work it out, but good luck anyway, one can always use a little bit of that!!! --Backwoods.

Sorry to hear that you've had to close. Good luck in your future ventures.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
