my freind has a sno pro 440 i have the regular z440 not the sno pro and turns out he has the same exact engine in his sled thats in mine, his sled tops at 85mph and mine tops at 70mph he got his geared for top speed so it hits 85mph i was wondering how much it would cost for me to get my sled geared?

gears are not too expensive compared to other things i want to say about $60 each but not sure, it might be $30 each so 2 would = $60 i can't remember

Are you sure about this, yes you would both have 440's but a z440 would be fan and his would be liquid and would make sense that his is faster.

if you gear your sled for top speed, wont you lose the acceleration? its a good thing to gear and a bad thing

well actually i was in shock to but the guy who had my freinds sled took out the liquid engine and put in a fan and then geared it and raced it because apparently the fan cooled is so much lighter for racing and we opened it up on the lake and he hit 85mph? im still looking for acceleration to id like posssibly 5-10mph faster i dont need the full 85mph but something to keep him in site.
