Bambi would have been a better and shorter movie if he was shot in the beginning with his mother

if a ride on lawn mower takes bumps better than your sled, its time to upgrade

is this demolition derby like the one that was on the power block? where you cant add any metal but can re use metal that was already there?

^If I were you, if you can modify the bumpers, cut the "hooks" off the corners. They just end up getting you hung up on other cars.

Can't say that I've seen too many 2-door cars in the local derbies. Is that typical for the class you'll be running?
So many options, just get creative!!! Depends on how much time you want to put into it.

Can reuse metal, but no reinforcing the frames no welding rears, no reinforcing dorrs either.but it's already got a posi rear anyway.

Rules are on JM Productions website if any are interrested.

Can't cut bumpers, but you can bend them in.

I think it would be a lot of fun to compete in one someday. My wife has other thoughts on me trying it out, though.

Looking over the rules, they are pretty different from what I usually see around here at the county fairs.

chrysler imperials are the only car to run in a derby or clam shell gm wagons. I have run 20 imperials and other mopars, newports, new yorkers, fury wagons etc etc over the last 10 years, i went overboard with my cars and i am banned from a few local derbys they say i was over aggresive. The would spend 30 minutes inspecting my cars or more everyone else would roll thru in 5 minutes. A few fights in the pits good times good times.

Flat-black with white spray paint on the hood, really sloppy saying simply, "ARRG!". Then, of course, you MUST fly the jolly roger out a window. Laughing like a maniac the entire race is a must. (bonus points for actually wearing an eyepatch)
